Fender Benders

Dick has had two minor fender benders in the past year.  We may have to look into getting some cheap auto insurance depending on how that changes our premium!  The thing is, both time the accidents could have been avoided and he will be the first one to tell you.  He drives a big work van (about the size of a 15 passenger van but there are no seats in the back) and there are no windows in back, just the back window.  Visibility is certainly limited and he backed into someone the first time.  The other time he rear-ended a small car that he thought had went but they hadn't.  It makes me wonder if he wishes he still had his little Ranger back!  I know with the van he doesn't have to unload his work stuff everyday, he can just leave it in there.  Regardless, I think he is starting to be a lot more careful when he is driving.  I think that is probably the reason he didn't want me to drive his van last week!
