Driving

I don't know about Chicago travel, but Kansas travel, from where we live in NW Alabama, is Loooong! We started out on Thursday right at lunch time and drove till about 4:30 or so. We found a hotel and then went out to dinner. The boys had a blast at Lamberts, the home of throwed rolls (where they pass by with rolls and if you want one they'll throw it to you. We pulled out at 8am on Friday morning and didn't make it to Topeka until about 6pm. We made a lot of stops for bathroom breaks and to stretch our legs. I think our plans will be relatively the same but in reverse on the way back. I'm not looking forward to the drive but am looking forward to being home again!
